Since its inception in August 2003 ASTHA has been continuously working for self reliance of the girls of poor,deprived ,weaker section of the society. Thousands of girls have become self employed thereby self dependent. Astha conducted employment based training, ,awareness based campaign in education,health and nutrition,environment protection,family welfare. It has worked against infant mortality and malnutrition.It helped in pulse polio programme and immunization.it has shown its commitment towards downtrodden and deprived section of the society and various measures have been taken.Astha believes in socio-centric approach with innovative and creative ideas to deal with a problem to improve quality of life of the people whether it be in the field of health,education,civic amenities or environment.it is more concern about the status of women in the society and its empowerment.The objective of Astha is to set examples as to how a project of socio-economic development be implemented with pragmatic and innovative mind, commitment and sincere as well as honest effort in such a way so as to fulfill the very purpose of the project and the beneficiaries themselves reflect the value for the money/grant.
आस्था महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के क्षेत्र में वर्ष 2003 से कार्यरत है। संस्था की प्रबंध निदेशक श्रीमती शालिनी अग्रवाल द्वारा अपने मुख्य उदे्श्य के अंर्तगत किशोरी महिलाओं विशेषकर गरीब एवं पिछड़े वर्ग को आत्मनिर्भर/स्वाबलंबी बनाने के उद्देश्य से कई रोजगारपरक/जीवनोपयोगी कार्यक्रम यथा सिलाई-कढ़ाई, ब्यूटिशीयन, फैशन डिलाइनिंग, फेब्रिक पेंटिग, स्पोकेन इंगलिश, मेंहदी, डांस आदि लगातार संचालन किया जा रहा है। जिसका प्रमाण है कि सैकड़ो किशोरियाँ आज आत्मनिर्भर हैं और रोजगार कर रही है।
उक्त संस्था की स्थापना 16 अगस्त 2003 में उत्तर प्रदेश सोसाइटी एक्ट-1860 रजिस्ट्रेशन स्थापना इलाहाबाद में हुई

संस्था का उदे्श्य किशोरी महिला को आत्मनिर्भर बनाना, उन्हें व्यवसायिक शिक्षा प्रदान करना, उन्हे उनके अधिकार के प्रति जागरूक करना, कानूनी सलाह देना, स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूक करना, सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देना, चारित्रिक विकास करना निराश्रित एवं उपेक्षित किशोरी महिलाओं के उत्थान के लिए विभिन्न योजनाओं का संचालन करना है।
वर्ष 2003 से संस्था अपने उदे्श्यों के प्रति कार्यरत है। संस्था द्वारा सैकड़ो किशोरियों को आत्मनिर्भरता प्रदान की गई है। संस्था द्वारा सैकडों किशोरियों को सतत् एवं व्यवसायिक शिक्षा तथा सिलाई, कढ़ाई, पेन्टिग एवं अन्य व्यवसायिक प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जा रहा है। निर्धन एवं पिछड़े वर्ग की महिलाओं के प्रति संस्था अत्यंत सक्रिय है। संस्था किशोरियों के व्यक्तित्व विकास का भी कार्य कर रही है। आधुनिक समाज के अनुरूप संस्था किशोरियों को स्पोकेन इंग्लिश, कम्प्यूटर प्रशिक्षण भी प्रदान कर रही है। दैनिक समाचार पत्र एवं पत्रिकाओं में भी संस्था द्वारा कार्यो की सराहना की गई है।
निश्चित रूप से महिलाओं के उत्थान की दिशा में आस्था जो के एक अलाभकारी संस्था है पूर्ण रूप से समर्पित है
उक्त के अतिरिक्त संस्था ने अपने उदे्श्य के तहत महिला जागरूकता कार्यक्रम, पर्यावरण जागरूकता कार्यक्रम, स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता कार्यक्रम एवं शिविर तथा सामाजिक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का भी आयोजन किया है
